September 24th, 2005 -- This gathering was organized by a lovely lady named Ellen, whom I'd met at a previous gathering. This one was held at the Coco's restaurant in the eastern part of Oceanside; a section of this town that never even knew existed. This was the largest gathering I'd ever been to, with close to 40 people in attendance! There were a lot of dolls, some people even braught some goodies to sell and Pam braught her drill and my Emma and Wendy got their little ears pierced. Many collectors braught family members and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. I know I did. I got to meet many people that I'd spoken to on mailing lists, or baught custom clothing from. Oh and got to eat a very tastey berry pie ala mode for only a buck.
