When I discovered the Silsktone Barbies at the now defunct local FAO Schwartz, I thaught they were so beautiful with their smooth milky "skin" and their resemblense to the style of the vintage Barbies. I opted not to collect their clothing, because then my shelves would be overrun with these beauties and I really had to limit myself. So I dress them in Japanese kimonos or lingerie instead. I only have 3 Silkstone Barbies right now, but I want to buy the Asian and the Ken doll soon.
March 5th, 2004 -- The darkhaired Lingerie Barbie is my favorite; the black kimono makes her look even more exotic.
